Orlando, Fla. (March 31, 2014) – Florida Bank of Commerce (FBC), one of Central Florida’s fastest growing community banks, recently announced plans to open a new office in the burgeoning Lake Nona area. Maria Rodammer has been appointed Lake Nona Market Manager for the bank’s new location.
The new office will serve both commercial and personal banking needs, also offering residential mortgage lending, including both construction and permanent lending. The Lake Nona office marks the seventh location for Florida Bank of Commerce. Other branches are located in Downtown Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Melbourne, Merritt Island and Winter Park.
“We’ve been intrigued with that market for quite some time, and we believe that our personal, high-touch approach will strike a chord with the people who live and work in the area,” said Dana Kilborne, President and CEO of Florida Bank of Commerce.
FBC made a calculated decision to wait to enter the market once they had found and hired the right banker for that role. Maria Rodammer joined FBC last month and her approach to building personal relationships with her clients was a solid cultural fit for the bank.

At this time, Kilborne and Rodammer are scouting temporary locations for the bank’s new Lake Nona office with plans to move into a permanent facility by the summer.
